Community explores the paradox of connection and isolation within human relationships. Painted during a period of experimentation, the piece draws from abstract techniques and found figures sourced from a tracing set. Each figure, representing individuals from diverse backgrounds, drifts in their own personal space — distinct yet part of a shared visual plane. The work reflects on the idea that while people coexist and form communities, they often do so while maintaining invisible boundaries — their own “bubbles.” It is both a celebration of human diversity and a quiet commentary on the emotional distance that can exist even in closeness.
